This painting of dunes off of Moshup Trail, Aquinnah, Martha's Vineyard, reflects my feeling that Dunes are mainly sand with lots of water underneath. Hang this painting in a room with normal day light, evening, and night. During the day you will see Beach / Ocean and Sky. As the room darkens the beach disappears leaving behind only water and sky.
